I have a lot to say about this current "Ready To Wear" collection by the fantastic Alexander McQueen. I find it hilarious that this is the collection that he chose to show as ready to wear. How funny is that?? Second, I believe this collection was first shown on the Will Ferrell runway as the Derilique collection. I'm not sure if he is commenting on where we are, or where we will be very shortly.
I don't want this to be a negative review of the show at all, it was amazing, a beautiful show, and I would seriously wear each and every piece, even if it meant that I would look like a tart. The recycling, broken glass thing was quite amazing, and just like a good film, is making me have all sorts of other thoughts about life, and fashion, which is sort of what one should do after seeing such a show.
Bravo Lee, bravo.
Today in Paris a show was unveiled to celebrate the sailors influence of fashion over the years. I wish I was in Paris to see it today! Who doesn't want a Gaultier striped top?
This is what I'm talking about people. What on earth is this? I look at the style section of the Review Journal and this is the kind of stuff that is being written about. In a town of over 2 million people, the only style things to report on is the new opening of the Rock and Republic store, or this horrid outfit at some other shop?? I ask, is it that there isn't anything else to write about? Is it that there is no style in this city? What is going on here? Clearly everyone doesn't wear rock and republic, and weird bedazzled leather jackets like this...image lasvegasreviewjournal.com
I'm a day late due to my taking the day off for the lovely President and Mrs. Obama and the beautiful day that was had by all. Today I would like to highlight one of my favorite blogs that I'm so addicted to!! She always has great things to say about her cute style, and she always does a great mix of high and low that makes her look great! Thanks for such a cute blog!!

In spite of the fact that it feels like 80 degree's in Las Vegas, I'm still wishing that it was a little more cold, so that I could attempt something like this, even though I'm sure I would butcher it. Never-the-less, what a perfect ensemble to run errands, have a bite to eat and pick up the kids in. This is the only way in which some sort of athletic style boot and shorts works.
